Excerpt from article:

Survivors of sexual abuse at Dilworth are warning the school not to press ahead with a redress scheme, without meaningfully engaging them first.

Over 100 survivors have joined a Human Rights Commission class action which alleges Dilworth School

failed to protect students from systemic sexual abuse between 1970 and 2006.

Dilworth Trust board chairman Aaron Snodgrass has told the school’s old boy association they are working on a redress scheme which would be ready next year. He told Stuff survivors would be consulted.

Hints that some complaints were made at the time have been revealed in court documents, but so far Dilworth School has declined to answer questions.
